The Lake
The Lake of Mainstay is the biggest attraction for the resort — it is the very reason for its existence.
The leaves from the surrounding forests drain their contents into the water, creating distinctive tea-colored therapeutic waters. There are variations in temperature at different depths, making the lake capable of alleviating arthritis aches and muscle pains. Relaxing in the warm areas — generated from the hot springs at the bed of the lake — is much regarded as "Spa" by visitors who find it hard to leave the water. Many visitors drink the lake water and take containers home, drinking one teaspoon daily to help prevent and eliminate the common cold and fever.
